A silver mine

Over-50 adults are the only increasing natural resource on the planet according to Laura Carstensen, of the Stanford Longevity Center. this is a ‘silver mine’ which is not only inexhaustible, but also keeps spreading, representing a precious reserve of human resources with great potentialities in the form of experience and knowledge. These can be used in various ways, including youngster support.

But this silver mine’s potentialities must be activated. According to our survey, more than 50% of retired or close to the retirement people would like to dedicate time to young people, even out of their family circle. 60% of them claim that the main obstacle they encounter in doing so. In other words: I’d do it, but I don’t know what to do and where to start.
